It's hard for brand new youtubers nowadays with us all having to compete with PewDiePie and Cry and Minx, the list goes on and the amount of views they get is probably something most of us starters are never going to accomplish, especially myself being female and young I get mistaken as a boy. For some reason people think if there is numbers in a user name or a name from a video game, it automatically classifies someone as a n00b. I mean who would you rather watch, Linkamajora14 or Neeshime? (Btw random bullshit name I pulled out of my ass, tots copyright) And then there are the people that think if you play the same game as one of the popular ones then you are copying them. There should be a way to have a level playing field when it comes to beginners like a boot camp.
So this is my challenge to you the reader; if you are a youtuber and have less than 100 subbers then try recording something that is good in quality and audio at least 2 times a week, min video length is 5 minutes. If you start off with that then you should with time climb up the scale.
Something I learned from my friend Konadian is that if your quiet people won't be highly entertained which is mostly why I believe his Slender video has more views due to it having 404Gamer on the recording with him. Don't strive to be like the greats, be your OWN great and have your OWN personality. Don't feel pressured to be like the higher ups.
Ya I know I can't talk much about all this but this is all just from observation and from seeing how certain trends go in youtube.
But most of all remember to have fun! That is all you can do is have fun with your games!
